Architecture Utility!
The Chair Project was designed to help us realize the significance of something like a 'chair' that is a contained expression of much complex and much intricate Architectural reality. An Object that serves the human body on a one to one scale; An object that's ergonomically favorable; that has the ability to disassemble, the ability to transform and be operable according to human need; and one that sits adaptively in its surroundings. A chair that satisfies your immediate bodily needs; of being able to work with an upright posture, of being able to rest or find repose, of being able to alter positions, of being able to have immediate storage.
A chair that is a didactic instrument and that reflects within its conception and construction, the complex Architectural principles and elements induced to make it. The students will have to show sensitivity towards the poesies of form and morphology; A synesthetic and a symbiotic relationship is to be formed between all the architectural elements in use; where the manifestation of the purpose of one induces the realization of the modality of the other.
